Website Accessibility

For people who are blind, deaf, have limited mobility or experience a range of other disabilities, using the internet is not always easy. Things that so many people take for granted - shopping online, using websites to research required services or even watching a video online - are sometimes impossible for them. Website accessibility refers to the removal of barriers that prevent these users from interacting with, or accessing websites. It ensures that everyone has equal access to the information and functionality.

With the technology that exists today, there really is no reason for these people to have less of an experience than anyone else.

If your business has a website which is hosted in Australia, it is a legal requirement to have an accessible website, and with 1 in 5 people in Australia having some disability, it makes good business sense to appeal to a broader market.

We believe that it is essential and as such, every website that we build from January 1 2016 onwards, will be accessible to a minimum of WCAG 2.0 Level A.

If you already have a website and would like to make sure it is compliant with the Accessibility standards, we can carry out a review of your website and either make recommendations, or actually implement the required changes for you.

Ready to reach a wider target market and make sure your website complies with accessibility standards?
